礦石烘干機(jī)廣泛用于建材、冶金、選礦、化工、水泥等行業(yè)，可用于烘干礦石、電石渣、石灰石、粘土、河沙、石英砂、水渣等物料。
礦石烘干機(jī)或礦石干燥機(jī)也是一種回轉(zhuǎn)式烘干機(jī)，主要由回轉(zhuǎn)筒體、引風(fēng)設(shè)備、高速打散設(shè)備、揚(yáng)料板、自清掃裝置、傳動裝置、輸送設(shè)備、熱風(fēng)設(shè)備、減速機(jī)、支撐裝置及密封裝置等部件組成。礦石烘干機(jī)設(shè)計合理，制作精良，性能穩(wěn)定，工藝，產(chǎn)量高，能耗低，占地面積小，機(jī)械化程度高。
工作原理：
礦石由皮帶輸送機(jī)或斗式提升機(jī)送到料斗，然后經(jīng)料斗的加料機(jī)通過加料管道進(jìn)入加料端。加料管道的斜度要大于物料的自然傾角，以便物料順利流入烘干機(jī)內(nèi)。
烘干機(jī)圓筒是一個與水平線略成傾斜的旋轉(zhuǎn)圓筒。物料從較高一端加入，載熱體由低端進(jìn)入，與物料成逆流接觸，也有載熱體和物料一起并流進(jìn)入筒體的。
隨著圓筒的轉(zhuǎn)動物料受重力作用運(yùn)行到較底的一端。濕物料在筒體內(nèi)向前移動過程中，直接或間接得到了載熱體的給，使?jié)裎锪系靡愿稍铮缓笤诔隽隙私?jīng)皮帶機(jī)或螺旋輸送機(jī)送出。
礦石烘干機(jī)筒體內(nèi)壁上裝有抄板，作用是把物料抄起來又撒下，使物料與氣流的接觸表面增大，以提高干燥速率并促進(jìn)物料前進(jìn)。
載熱體經(jīng)干燥器以后，一般需要旋風(fēng)除塵器將氣體內(nèi)所帶物料捕集下來(載熱體一般分為熱空氣、煙道氣等)。如需進(jìn)一步減少尾氣含塵量，還應(yīng)經(jīng)過袋式除塵器或濕法除塵器后再放排放。
